From 05/01/2022 the owner of any week rented through Langdale will be responsible for the electricity and gas at the average for that month, this will be deducted from the rental proceeds along with the commission prior to the balance being forwarded to the owner Rental Agreement between Langdale Leisure Limited and you as registered owner:-

In accordance with the Constitution of the Langdale Owners’ Club you are required to pay your Management Fee by the due date; ie eight weeks prior to your ownership week.

We regret that it is not possible for Management Fees to be paid out of rental income.

Please note that, if the Management Fee remains unpaid at the date of the renter’s occupation, a charge of £50 will be applied to your account and will be deducted from your rental proceeds.

On renting your property, 20% of the rental fee plus VAT at the prevailing rate will be retained by Langdale Leisure Ltd. The balance will be forwarded to you within four weeks of the end of your ownership week.

Once we have accepted your week for rental it cannot be withdrawn, swapped or included in any of the exchange systems, unless agreed with the Langdale Sales Office in writing.

Langdale Leisure Ltd will make every effort to rent your property but this cannot be guaranteed. We do not accept liability for late cancellation of rental, prior to payment being received.

We will make every effort to rent your property at full tariff. However, if you have agreed with us, to negotiate on your behalf or accept a part-week rental, we may do this without further consultation with you. By agreeing to use Langdale Leisure Ltd rental service you are accepting the rental tariff.

We will contact you if and when we have rented your property.

This agreement applies to the unit and week stated for the period stated, overleaf.

The Rental Agreement can only be accepted by Langdale Leisure Ltd if it is signed by each Registered Owner as named on the Holiday Certificate, or the terms and conditions have been accepted online.

Sublet payment cheques will be made payable to the Registered Owner(s) as detailed on the Holiday Certificate.

If you require payment of your sublet cheque to any person(s) other than the registered owners as detailed on the Holiday Certificate then you (the registered owner(s) must authorise this by confirming in writing.

If the ownership is in joint or multiple names and a joint bank account is not held, authorisation must be given in writing and signed by all parties concerned in order for a cheque to be made payable to one or the other registered owner(s).

Langdale will not be liable for any failure of or delay in the performance of this Agreement in particular where rental guests are unable to gain access to the Langdale Estate for the rental period and where such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes or labor disputes, embargoes, government orders or any other force majeure event. In such circumstances a refund of their rental payment may be given.
